Bonnie Boeshart Roberts has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience in development of joint venture structures and capital sourcing, management and research of real estate investments, portfolio management and commercial mortgage lending. Bonnie has spent the past 7 years with Exel (Logistics), acquired by Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN) in 2005, as the capital markets expert tasked with sourcing capital and structuring joint venture agreements to support the in-house development efforts in the Americas and Asia Pacific regions, representing over $500 M of development capital.
In addition, she was an advisor on DPWN’s recent $1.4b portfolio sale of European mixed-use assets.
Her prior experience included thirteen years with the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, where she was involved with management and research of real estate investments for one of the largest direct real estate pension fund investors. She rounded out her investment experience by working as the Portfolio Manager for The Pizzuti Companies, a private Columbus real estate developer, and Ostendorf Morris, a commercial real estate mortgage banker.
Bonnie has served as President of the Columbus Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and was a Board Member for the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF).
Bonnie has both a BSBA and an MBA from The Ohio State University, with an emphasis in finance. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Columbus. She has been a lecturer at the Fisher College of Business teaching Business Finance 772, Real Estate Finance.
