Greg Alexander is a 1976 graduate of the Ohio State University receiving degree in Business Administration with a concentration in real estate and urban development.

After graduation, he worked in the savings and loan industry for eight years most notable for the Broadview Savings and Loan Company of Cleveland, Ohio. In 1985, Greg accepted a position with McDonald’s Corporation, Oakbrook, Illinois, as a real estate asset manager for the northeast division. In 1987, he became a real estate representative in McDonald’s Columbus Regional office and was subsequently promoted to real estate manager in 1989. During his twelve year tenure as real estate manager, Greg was responsible for the development of over 200 restaurants and managed a portfolio of over 450 restaurant properties. In 2001, Greg joined Panera, LLC, Richmond Heights, Missouri. In his role at Panera, Greg counseled nine franchise entities in eight states with respect to market assessment and real estate site analysis.

Presently, Greg is a real estate director for Dollar General Corporation, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.  In his four years with Dollar General, Greg has managed a real estate team that is responsible for the development of 100+ stores a year in nine northeast states.

Greg has been a member of ICSC for many years and has served as a board member and past chairperson of Adventure for Wish Kids, a Columbus, Ohio based non-profit.
