The Innovation Initiative at the The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business is a multi-faceted program focused on education, training, consulting services and outreach focused on the practice of top-line growth through the utilization of a consumer-centered, collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach to the creation of new products, services, and processes.

A corporate forum comprised of more than two dozen leading companies focused on harnessing the power of innovation for top-line growth.

A university-wide forum comprised of Deans, Associate Deans, and Department Chairs focused on harnessing the practice of innovation process to fulfill the university’s objectives of “horizontalness,” trans-disciplinary study, and “One University”

Innovation Forum

An MBA student organization which conducts seminars, guest speaker events and tours of innovation centers as well as summer internship programs and an annual Innovation Summit entitled the Innovation Forum

Pilot Projects

Special projects undertaken by the Initiative regarding innovation training and best practices. The first pilot project launched by the Innovation Initiative is a partnership with Ohio State’s Center for Clinical & Translational Science and the College of Medicine to deliver a five-part workshop series on discovery, innovation, and commercialization.

Research

Fisher faculty in the Department of Management and Human Resources is available to Forum members to conduct clinical and academic research in the area of innovation.
