2013 Clean Energy Challenge

Introducing a new award in the OSU Business Plan Competition!
  • The Office of Energy and Environment is partnering with the Fisher College of Business Center for Entrepreneurship and the Technology Commercialization and Knowledge Transfer Office to create a new business plan competition award for students interested in developing clean energy technology. 
  • In addition to competing in the annual Ohio State University Business Plan Competition, top teams in clean energy will be invited to compete against student-led teams from other Ohio colleges and universities for $10,000 in cash and prizes at the annual State of Ohio Clean Energy Challenge
  • The top performing teams from the state competition will advance to the Midwest Clean Energy Challenge where they will compete with student-led teams from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Kentucky, and Wisconsin for $100,000 and an invitation to the 2013 US Department of Energy National Clean Energy Business Plan Competition.  There they will compete with teams from across the nation for another $100,000 in cash and prizes and the title of National Clean Energy Champion.
