Welcome Nationwide

The Center for Operational Excellence (COE) is pleased to announce that Nationwide has become the newest member of the COE. Nationwide, based in Columbus, Ohio, is one of the largest and strongest diversified insurance and financial services organizations in the U.S. and is rated A+ by A.M. Best. The company provides a full range of personalized insurance and financial services, including auto insurance, motorcycle, boat, homeowners, life insurance, farm, commercial insurance, administrative services, annuities, mortgages, mutual funds, pensions, long-term savings plans and health and productivity services.
 
We welcome Rachel Lane, associate vice president, Business Excellence as the COE board member. Lane joined Nationwide in 2009, she is responsible for building the institutional capability for On Your Side Continuous Improvement – including methodology, framework, training, certification, and project coaching and portfolio management. She brings more than 20 years experience working with organizations to improve business processes. Her experience also includes founding and managing an enterprise project management office for a Fortune 100 company, directing customer relationship marketing efforts and implementing various go-to-market strategies for organizations. Prior to joining Nationwide, Lane served as a deployment leader/master black belt with the Center for Operational Excellence at Cardinal Health where she participated in the enterprise deployment of Lean and Six Sigma. Additionally, she was responsible for executing business segment site assessments, training and mentoring staff on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and corporate communications.
