Kickoff Networking Reception – Blackwell Ballroom

Wednesday, April 10 – 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Mingle with fellow summit attendees, Fisher faculty hosting Thursday’s breakout sessions and industry experts leading workshops over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Blackwell Ballroom. Fisher students also will be on hand to showcase their Six Sigma projects. Guest appearance: Animals from the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium!

Lunch, featuring Ohio State University Marching Band Director Jon Waters – Blackwell Ballroom

Thursday, April 11 – 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Take a break from the morning’s presentations and breakout sessions with lunch in the Blackwell Ballroom. Making a special appearance will be OSU Marching Band Director Waters, who spent nearly a decade as an assistant director before ascending to the top spot in October 2011. Hear about Waters’ journey to becoming leader of the Best Damn Band in the Land and revisit notable performances, including those that became an online viral sensation.

Tour of Ohio Stadium

Thursday, April 11 – 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Get a look inside where game-day action happens with a walk-through of Ohio Stadium exclusive to Leading Through Excellence attendees. Ohio Stadium is one of the most recognizable landmarks in all of sports, built nearly 100 years ago and featuring a seating capacity of 102,329. Since the stadium’s opening game in 1922, more than 36 million fans have streamed – and screamed – through its portals. The tour concludes with an on-field group photo op!

In this exclusive reception for COE board members and other invited guests, meet The Power of Habit author Charles Duhigg over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the beautiful Campus Reading Room on the top floor of Ohio State’s Thompson Library. Relax after a day of Leading Through Excellence programming and admire the sights from one of the highest points on campus.
