He concurrently served as Carlson Software’s Director of Information Technology. Adam holds a Masters in Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University and is currently pursuing his MBA at The Fisher College of Business with a focus in Finance and Operations. | CBPM Executive Director Reference |
Adam's leadership for FPS has been extraordinary. This is a challenging role that oversees over 100 MBAs delivering paid consulting projects to local, national and global clients. As a result, the Managing Partners deal with many of the challenges for any Executive or Senior leader including financial performance pressures, organizational dynamics and politics, client/customer relationship management, staffing challenges and personnel issues. In particular, Adam is tasked with the Sales & Business Development efforts for FPS. We don't teach Sales & Business Developoment at Fisher (yet), but interaction with FPS requires our MBAs to engage in a manner that is typically outside their comfort zones. Adam has taken on the Managing Partner and Sales/Business Development role and has continuously exceeded my expectations while remaining focused on execution while balancing the demands of his rigorous academic curriculum with driving the success of FPS. It has been a pleasure to work with Adam and I look forward to seeing him deliver significant value for Deloitte and Deloitte's clients from Day 1. |

| Biography |
A second year MBA focusing on Strategy and Internationalization, Joe’s background is in project management and consulting, primarily in the construction management industry where he most recently managed the construction arm of a start-up real estate development company. His summer internship work focused on strategy development and innovation for Merrill Lynch in Ireland; an experience that has only strengthened his desire to continue in the consulting field. Joe is currently studying at SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy in order to further broaden his global perspective and to learn from a more diverse set of stakeholders. Joe looks for the MBA to bolster the valuable skills he has gained through his work experience and to better prepare him for future leadership positions. Joe’s experiences and interests are truly unique and extensive, with an emphasis on leadership, business development, management, and networking. Joe has relatively extensive travel and work experiences abroad, each one of which has merely heightened his desire to participate in the global environment and prepared him for candidacy as an agile leader in the management consulting field. |
| CBPM Executive Director Reference |
This past Summer, I asked Joe to take on a leadership role as the Program Manager overseeing five 2nd Year MBA Project Managers and 20 other MBAs during our inaugural Global Innvoation & Execution Summer Internship Program where we delivered projects for US Multinational companies and Irish Companies in Dublin, Ireland. In addition to his role delivering a Strategic Plan for BofA/Merrill Lynch's Research, Development and Innovation Center, Joe significantly exceeded my expectations providing leadership to the five MBAs while managing the team dynamics for over 25 people. As a result of the success from our program in Dublin, Ireland I asked Joe to take on the role of FPS Managing Partner for Europe to continue our client relationships in Dublin with related followup work and sales/business development efforts focused on the EU. Studying in Milan this quarter, Joe has been able to engage with current and new clients and has impressively managed a rigorous academic workload with client satisfaction and relationship development. It has been a pleasure to work with Joe and I see him adding value as a Leader focused on execution in any organization. |

BPM Research - Decision Support & BPM - Scorecards & Dashboards: Draft report (PDF)
|
| Biography |
Kalpesh is a second year MBA candidate at Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University (Class of 2010). He is a member of the Center for Business Performance Management at Fisher and has been working on the Certification program provided by the center. Kalpesh's summer internship was with Huntington National Bank in the area of Business Performance Management and Corporate Finance. In the role, he worked with the BPM, Cost accounting and financial reporting groups on the design and implementation of a new financial reporting system to effectively report cost allocation across the organization. The internship gave Kalpesh exposure to Oracle Hyperion Essbase 9 suite of products and also introduced him to the world of scorecards, dashboards and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE).
Kalpesh recently conducted research in the area of Scorecards and Dashboards focused on its use in the services industry. This paper was part of the Center for Business Performance Management’s CBPM Certification program. He is very interested in moving into the role of a Business Analyst/Consultant who works as a liaison between the corporate functions such as cost accounting, corporate finance and the area of Corporate Performance Management. Kalpesh has a good understanding of technology and can leverage his MBA skills to create the balance required to succeed in this role.

| CBPM Executive Director Reference |
Kalpesh continues to exceed expectations with his passion for BPM combined with technical competencies that allow him to quickly engage with technologies and immediately add value. Kalpesh's Summer internship working on maintenance of Hyperion Essbase cubes (an environment with over 100 cubes) provided him a strong foundation for working with various BPM technologies including seeing how critical Business Intelligence and Data Infrastructure Management impact the ability of firms to implement effective scorecarding and dashboarding. In addition to his Summer Internship, Kalpesh will be training other FPS MBAs as we deliver scorecarding and dashboarding services to other clients. A Financial Systems or IT Systems team looking for a Manager with strength in BPM/BI technology would immediately see value from working with Kalpesh. |
