Guest, Eric Lenard:

“You know, when you think about how people feel included or feel like they belong in an organization, I think a big piece of that is how we celebrate. And I think we’re very good at celebrating results, but we’re not always good at celebrating people. And so, I’ve tried to be very intentional about celebrating the people that deliver the results, not just the outcome...it can be as simple as recognizing effort in a meeting or taking the time to personally thank someone for their contribution — even if the project didn’t land perfectly. It’s about showing that you see them and value what they brought to the table. That kind of recognition goes a long way in building trust and engagement.”
