Fisher MBAs meet Warren Buffett

Published: 2012-04-03

For the fourth year, Warren E. Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., invited Fisher MBA students to spend a day at his company’s corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. On March 30, 20 MBA students heard a presentation from Buffett and participated in question and answer session with him.

Buffett selects business schools from around the country for lunch and chat sessions. During the visit, the students toured Buffett’s Nebraska Furniture Mart, the nation’s largest home furnishing store.

Funding for students to travel to Nebraska was provided by Sander A. Flaum, CEO of Flaum Partners and member of the Dean's Advisory Council. Flaum, an active alumnus at Fisher, is recipient of The Ohio State University Alumni "Professional Achievement" award and provided a gift to Fisher to establish the Sander A. Flaum Leadership and Professional Development Speaker Series.
