Fisher MBAs participate in CNBC's Million Dollar Challenge

A team of Fisher MBA students is facing off with MBAs from Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Georgetown, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, University of Notre Dame and University of Texas Austin in the CNBC Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge MBA Face-Off.

Jason Stein, Logan Smyth, Edouard Sevil, Alex Remlinger, Matt McHenry, Fred Macaraeg, David Klink, Michael Higgins and Ankita Agarwal are representing Fisher in the fantasy stock and currency trading competition.

Trading began on September 19 with eight teams from leading business schools managing a $1 million “CNBC Bucks” stock and currency portfolio. Each of the registered students in the “MBA Face-Off” will use their virtual million dollars to fictionally trade stocks and exchange traded funds on the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ Marketplace, American Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange and Australia Securities Exchange as well as currencies in real-time.Trading official ends on Friday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. The team with the highest average portfolio balance at the end of the competition will be awarded iPad2s for each team member.
