Six Sigma Solutions Breakfast

Fisher College and Moresteam.com developed this complimentary series of breakfast seminars as a way for central Ohio black belts to network and share best practices.

Who Should Attend:  Six Sigma Black Belts

Upcoming Date & TopicNovember 13, 2009 - " Using Checklists to Help Improvement Teams"
Presenter: Jim Liston, The Scotts Company

Projects are identified, teams are formed and team members are trained in lean and six sigma tools. Sounds good but OK, now what? Depending of the type of project, teams at Scotts are provided with additional training that emphasizes and reinforces the tools that are likely to be used on their particular project. The teams have support from the corporate quality group to help them understand how to use the tools they have learned but checklists are also provided to make it easier for teams to identify tasks, plan activities and make progress. I will share some of the reinforcement training that culminates in the use of checklists that help the team better understand the path to improvement. The objective being to keep it simple!
