The Core of Knowledge course is designed specifically for Nursing Home Administrators-In-Training (AIT’s). This course meets the special academic requirement set by the Ohio Board of Examiners for qualifying to take the state licensure board examination.
Ohio participants should call the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators (BENHA) at 614-466-5114 to arrange their AIT program and to be approved by BENHA.
The program duration is three weeks. Participants will be in class from Monday through Friday for each week of the course and are free on the weekends.
Who Should Attend: Enrollment is open to anyone interested in becoming a nursing home administrator and any person wanting professional training in nursing home administration.

Cancellation, Transfer & Substitution Policy
A $150 deposit is required to sign up for the course which will go toward the $1650 registration fee. No refunds will be given for the deposit. One transfer of the deposit fee will allowed to a future Core of Knowledge program. If a participant pays for the entire course, a refund (minus the deposit) will be given for cancellations received at least one week before the class begins. After that time, no refunds will be given.
