Sarah Pohmer

Sarah Pohmer has been a senior HR partner at JPMorgan Chase for more than 20 years, providing executive counsel and organizational support across a number of businesses and functions.

For the past 10 years, she has led HR for Chase Business Banking, which has more than 3,000 employees located in branches and offices across the U.S. She is also the HR Business Partner for several other functional organizations in the bank, including Strategy & Corporate Development, Data & Analytics, Controls, and Marketing.

Earlier in her career, Sarah was Head of HR for the retail bank’s IT organization globally, overseeing teams in the U.S., India and the Philippines. She has also supported executives and organizations in Chase’s Consumer business, including Product and Marketing, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology.

Before joining the firm in 2000, Sarah was a recruiter and sales manager at an IT consulting firm.

Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Dayton and a Master’s in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. 

Sarah and her husband have four daughters and live in Powell, Ohio.
