Michelle Wood has more than 20 years of experience helping organizations improve customer satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. Michelle has extensive experience in the areas of change management, strategic planning, culture and engagement, empowerment and teams, process improvement, leadership development, teamwork and collaboration, succession, and workforce planning. Michelle has worked both in the manufacturing and utility industries specializing in large scale improvements.
Michelle currently works at American Electric Power Service Corporation in Columbus, Ohio. While there, her roles have included Organization Development Consultant and Manager, Workforce Planning & Staffing. Currently, Michelle leads the Talent Management function within Human Resources.
Michelle has Master’s Degrees from Bowling Green State University in Organization Development and Business Administration. She also is a Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) through the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
