Manuela Priesemuth, PhD

After serving as an assistant professor at the School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Priesemuth joins VSB’s community as an assistant professor in the Management & Operations department. She graduated with a BS in Business Administrations from the College of St. Mary, Nebraska, an MBA in International Business from Creighton University, Nebraska, and a PhD in Department Management from the University of Central Florida. Her areas of research interest include workplace deviance, leadership, behavioral ethics/prosocial behavior, and organizational justice. Priesemuth’s research and written works have been featured in many professional journals including Business & Society, The Leadership Quarterly, the Academy of Management Journal, and most recently the Journal of Organizational Behavior. In 2015, she was awarded Wilfrid Laurier University’s Merit Award for Academic Excellence for her achievements in research, teaching, and service.
