Sharon Tucker

Dr. Sharon Tucker is the Grayce Sills Endowed Professor in psychiatric-mental health nursing in the College of Nursing, director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Executive Track and director for the Implementation/Translational Research Core for the Ohio State Helene Fuld Heath Trust National Institute for Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in Nursing and Healthcare. She studies behavioral interventions and EBP implementation, training and tools, and leadership to promote EBP uptake. She developed the EBP Self- Efficacy Scale (more than 2500 requests from more thna 40 countries) and the EBP Implementation Strategies Self-Efficacy Scale with preliminary promising psychometric data. Dr. Tucker publishes widely with more than 70 articles, four book chapters and two EPB books. She leads/co-leads EBP training nationally/internationally and is associate editor of Worldviews on Evidence-based Nursing, treasurer for the board of directors for the Midwest Nursing Research Society; a Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellows
