Goodbye to 2023! A year of significant changes for me, filled with emotions and decisions that will leave a lasting impact on my professional journey. Application deadlines for the program are close, so, in this post, I want to reflect and take you through my story—my experience applying for the Specialized Master in Finance at Fisher.

December has arrived, and I´m approaching halfway on my SMF journey! As I've shared in my previous posts, this semester has been truly incredible. From networking with top alumni currently working at firms like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, EY, etc., to being selected as part of the SMF Student Council, to traveling to Las Vegas to represent Fisher College of Business at Prospanica, the largest conference for Latino professionals in the USA! Group projects, papers, and exams all due between those two weeks after Thanksgiving break and before Winter Break. Here is a quick guide for surviving the dreaded first 1-2 weeks of December so you won't get too burnt-out.

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is getting through the last few weeks of their semester in one piece before finals season rolls around! I wanted to post about the opportunities that Fisher MAcc students have to get involved around campus. As one of the graduate student ambassadors, I have been receiving numerous questions about ways that students can get involved around campus. 

In October, I attended the Prospanica Conference in Las Vegas. The event was a whirlwind of networking, resume-enhancing sessions, and interviews with hiring managers. Companies ranging from Fortune 500 to niche players provided valuable insights, and I'm eager to apply what I've learned to secure a full-time position in Finance. The conference also showcased universities, including Ohio State, where I represented my program. Beyond professional networking, the Vegas backdrop added an exciting dimension to the experience.
