Every accounting majors know of the CPA exam. The daunting task of completing four less than fun exams within a set time period. It's something your work requires, and no one looks forward to it. For those of you who don't know much about the CPA exam, it stands for Certified Public Accountant and is a four part exam one must take in order to become a CPA.

Every year the MHRM students participate in an internal case competition that places students knowledge to the test by presenting the teams with a problem an actual organization is facing, and giving them 24 hours to research, cultivate, and deliver a solution to a panel of judges.

One important aspect that attracted me to pursuing a Fisher MBA, as opposed to other MBA programs, is their emphasis and commitment to training MBA candidates in having a cross-functional approach when it comes to problem-solving and dealing with various business decisions. As first-year MBA students, we attend workshops and integration sessions every week that focus on connecting and merging the myriad of complementary disciplines we tackle in our core classes.
