Professional Development Goals for the New Year

Hello everyone!

Winter break was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with loved ones and reset my motivation for my last semester of business school. I am excited to share my achievements and goals for the upcoming year. I am happy to share that I have accepted a full-time consulting role with Accenture. It feels incredibly surreal to have landed a dynamic and exciting role upon graduation. Last December, I was notified on my acceptance in The Keith B. Key Buckeye Social Entrepreneurship Program (BSEP). The program guides students who are interested in launching a social enterprise. The program is facilitated by Sea Change Columbus which facilitates a 14-week business accelerator course to help students develop their ideas and business model. BSEP also connects students with professional development opportunities, resources, and faculty members to advance their social entrepreneurial skills. At the end of the 14-week accelerator course, students will have the opportunity to pitch their business idea to community leaders and investors for access to funding. I have been fortunate to be matched with a Sea Change mentor who has been motivating and guiding me through the program.

Social entrepreneurship is a passion of mine and I am incredibly grateful for BSEP for the opportunity to develop the skills that are needed to lead a successful social enterprise. I am very excited to watch my project progress throughout the semester and pitch my business idea to investors!
