Mark Cappone, Col.

Colonel Mark Cappone (U.S. Army, Retired) is president and founder of J. Allen Leadership Solutions. He is also a senior executive in residence at Ohio University’s Voinovich Academy for Excellence in Public Service, where he is responsible for providing customized leadership development programs and coaching for public service leaders throughout Appalachian Ohio. An accredited leadership coach, Mark also teaches leadership and management courses for the Fisher College of Business Summer Dean’s Leadership Academy, the Voinovich Academy and Franklin University. His past leadership roles include assistant director of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services as well as numerous assignments during his military career, which culminated as commander of the 371st Sustainment Brigade and chief of staff for the Ohio Army National Guard.
