It can be a challenge to maintain one's morale in the winter months, including here in the Midwest. I work as a graduate student ambassador in the Fisher Graduate Programs Office - the other ambassadors and I always try to find a way to have fun with work. Last week, Elise Zawacki, Eric Luehmann, and I were tasked with filling boxes with surprise gifts for many of our admitted graduate students for autumn 2020.
A few weeks ago, I kicked off my final semester of the Fisher MHRM program! In the new year I have decided to take on any practical application opportunities that come my way throughout the next 14 weeks. Which is why I would like to share a recent experience I volunteered to take part in.
We are heading into our final semester here at Ohio State University! I can personally say I am sad to see it approach the end, but I am looking forward to all the classes and fun I have planned for this semester.
Getting back to school after the winter break can be unexciting. However, I have found joy attending different group fitness classes last semester, and they are the motivation for me to get back to campus and restart my workout routine after a long break. While the Fisher College of Business has many excellent clubs and organizations that work to benefit its student’s professional and cultural experiences, only one organization is focused on providing students with financial support when they fall under some unexpected misfortune.
