Exam season can be stressful but there are numerous ways to decompress and enjoy your time at Ohio State.
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) Conference in Chicago. During three days full of insightful sessions, a vast career fair, and relationship-building events, I and some of my Fisher peers connected with many MBA students and industry professionals representing the LGBTQ+ community.
Hi! As we near the end of the first session, I reflect on the balance between academic challenges and leisure activities. I describe our exciting paintball day, where 20 of us SMF students bonded over intense battles. Thanks to a friend's initiative, we also enjoyed a culinary adventure, trying delicious Indian dishes in Columbus. Our weekend wouldn't be complete without cheering for The Ohio State football team, and we celebrated a thrilling victory. The city of Columbus has so many different activities and events to share throughout the whole year. However, due to its convenient location in the Midwest, the fall season is one of the best times to have fun around Columbus. As the preterm came to a close, Ohio State's Fisher College of Business decided to celebrate the end and foster connections among students with a delightful picnic at the scenic Park of Roses in Columbus. This event brought together 1st and 2nd-year MBA students, professors, and the Fisher leadership team, creating a fantastic opportunity for networking, relaxation, and pure enjoyment.
