Hi everyone! As a Columbus native, I am excited to share some of the things that make Columbus, Ohio one of the best cities in the country. In this blog post, I will introduce you to some of the amazing food, places, and activities that make Columbus more than just a college town.
Fall Break Shenanigans!
The Full-Time MBA class of 2025 embarked on an unforgettable adventure over the fall break, immersing ourselves in the natural wonderland of Hocking Hills State Park, nestled in Hocking County, Ohio, United States. This captivating park, which borders the Hocking State Forest in some areas, lured us with promises of over 25 miles of hiking trails, awe-inspiring rock formations, enchanting waterfalls, and hidden recess caves. The allure of this destination was undeniable, and we soon discovered that it had much more to offer than we ever imagined.
Visit Clintonville Farmers’ Market: Every weekend
It is a weekend destination for a wide range of foods grown and produced in Ohio. You’ll find everything from vegetables, to breads, cheese and jams and flowers. It’s a place where friends and families can come together and discover the best of local food.
Hi! As we near the end of the first session, I reflect on the balance between academic challenges and leisure activities. I describe our exciting paintball day, where 20 of us SMF students bonded over intense battles. Thanks to a friend's initiative, we also enjoyed a culinary adventure, trying delicious Indian dishes in Columbus. Our weekend wouldn't be complete without cheering for The Ohio State football team, and we celebrated a thrilling victory. Stay tuned for future blog posts about Columbus exploration, football game experiences, job-seeking, and more.
The city of Columbus has so many different activities and events to share throughout the whole year. However, due to its convenient location in the Midwest, the fall season is one of the best times to have fun around Columbus. Not only because of the city’s cozy weather, colorful trees, and bonfire aroma, but mainly for its community vibe.
