Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) Conference in Chicago. During three days full of insightful sessions, a vast career fair, and relationship-building events, I and some of my Fisher peers connected with many MBA students and industry professionals representing the LGBTQ+ community. The annual ROMBA Conference is a life-changing experience, not only due to its impact on the professional development of MBA students but also because of the personal stories shared at its sessions and panels.

The city of Columbus has so many different activities and events to share throughout the whole year. However, due to its convenient location in the Midwest, the fall season is one of the best times to have fun around Columbus. Not only because of the city’s cozy weather, colorful trees, and bonfire aroma, but mainly for its community vibe. Here are some of my personal favorites: Columbus Coffee Festival At this event, you can enjoy tastings from diverse local coffee shops and roasters while navigating different pastries, food trucks, and miscellaneous merchandise.
