At the beginning of 2011 winter quarter, I decided to schedule a formal "break" from grad school.  So I came up with this really good idea to trade my compensation and staffing textbooks for a week of sun and fun in the Tampa Bay, FL, area with my girlfriend.  And if that isn't exciting enough, I decided to pick the week of my birthday to take that break!
