As a way to celebrate the end of our semester, the Fisher MAcc program hosted a MAcc Fall reception for us the Friday after our last classes, and it was a very festive event! The MAcc Fall reception at the Faculty Club consisted of a cocktail hour, dinner, and speeches. This event was an excellent opportunity to bring students, faculty and staff together one last time before the holiday break! I even had the chance to mingle with one of my professors from undergrad.
A few weeks ago, the MHRM program held its very own Friendsgiving! It was graciously hosted by one of our working professional MHRM students, Scott Bassett, and the evening was filled with tons of food, drinks, and laughter. These events are especially important as we head into finals in the upcoming weeks. It really is a time to sit back, relax, and enjoy each others company.
To echo what An spoke about in her post (finding a little piece of home), it is important to have your people when you're in college, especially as an international student.
It is very bitter-sweet sitting here writing my last blog post. I am definitely in denial that my time here in the MAcc program is over and the real world is approaching fast. Here is a list of why the MAcc Program here at Ohio State has exceeded my expectations and been a great time:
It’s hard to believe that I’m sitting down writing my very last blog post of the year. I remember wondering in August how I could possibly have material to write about consistently throughout the year. Little did I know that the MAcc program is about way more than just completing 31 credit hours! I decided to reach out to some of my fellow classmates to learn about their favorite memories from their time in the MAcc program!
