Category: Exploring Columbus
Tomorrow will be the fifth time we meet for class and things are starting to pick up. I have my first MBA 870 midterm on October 20th and my team is in the process of picking a project for MBA 812. Not only that, but work has been very busy and my social calendar is very busy this month as I have stated before. In order to get my work done, I am going to need to make it over to the library for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday morning.
I know all professors want to hear students pay attention and do not surf the web or do other activities while sitting in a lecture. I understand that and recognize that we all wish to get full attention while presenting, however, sometimes that is just not possible.
Today as I sit in a lecture, one that I've already contributed to multiple times (yay - multi-tasking!) I am thinking about how I've already enjoyed a grande coffee today and am already dreaming of a second.
I just finished my second night of class and now that school is in full swing I have had to sketch out my calendar for the next 10 weeks. In October, I have a ton of events that I have tickets for and thus I have had to plan ahead. Among those events are concerts, out of town football games and the local Italian Festival which you'll hear all about in my blog over the next few weeks. Anyway, what I guess I am trying to say is that time management is really, really important.
While, they were new to us at least. Sarah's parents drove in from Richmond to visit (8 hours through VA and WV mostly,) and we decided since they had the truck here, we should try and get a washer and dryer. Just to preface, we have the hook-ups for a washer/dryer in our house, we just hadn't bought one yet, and had been using an awful laundromat down the street.
Even though I've been living in metro-Columbus for the past two years, there are ALWAYS new, exciting things to do! Let me give you some examples:
