Noah Jellison
Noah Jellison is the Executive Director of the Risk Institute at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, which is a consortium of forward-thinking organizations and academics with the mission to advance enterprise risk management through cross-industry collaboration, academic research, thought leadership, and talent development.
Noah has over 17 years of consulting, auditing and industry experience in business and enterprise risk that uniquely encompasses and combines a multitude of specializations, including enterprise risk management, business and IT processes and controls, risk data science and analytics, robotic process automation, IT audit and security, privacy, cyber, and third-party risk management and reporting.
Before becoming Executive Director of The Risk Institute, Noah was at EY and led risk consulting and audit engagements with a focus on building and leading high performing teams globally to help organizations identify, comply with, and respond to multi-dimensional business, operational and IT risks. He has worked with some of the largest Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies spanning across a wide range of industries. His experience also includes working within the public sector at the federal and state levels, and with middle-market and start-up organizations. He has served various EY leadership roles throughout his career focused on risk data analytics and innovation, which includes leading Technology Risk Data Analytics for EY Central U.S. and serving as the Central U.S. Consulting leader for the EY Badges global training and credentials program, of which he earned the highest accreditation at EY for data science and analytics. He has regularly represented EY at professional events and conferences where he has presented on enterprise risk topics related to accounting, auditing, emerging risk and technology, and innovation.
Noah also worked at Nationwide Insurance for almost two years. He served as the director of data analytics within the Office of Internal Audit where he led the ideation, development and implementation of audit and risk analytics in support of audits across all business and IT operations. He was also on the Nationwide Data & Analytics Enterprise Leadership Team Council, and represented Nationwide in various professional organizations and other collaborations.
He is a board member of the Columbus Children's Theatre, where he served as treasurer of the board from 2018 to 2021, and is also a board member of the Columbus Literacy Council, where he is the current treasurer of the board. He previously served on the Computing Sciences and Mathematics (CSM) advisory board at Franklin University, and was the data analytics leader for the EY Day One Ready program at the University of Dayton. Additionally, he is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Noah earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration cum laude from The Ohio State University with a dual major in Accounting and Management Information Systems. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), and ACL Certified Data Analyst (ACDA).
