Matthew Burns

Matt Burns, who had been with center for 8 years, left in August 2019 to pursue his master’s in education at OSU. Matt joined COE as program coordinator in 2011 and as Associate Director, was responsible for writing, editing, and managing all printed and online communications for COE, including member news, student engagement highlights, faculty research, end-to-end event marketing, event scripts and social media. Matt also developed, contributed, and posted content for COE’s “Think Op-Ex” blog and monthly member e-newsletter as well as managed registration, event marketing, and event coverage for 16 additional COE events annually.
