As the current Chief Operational Excellence Officer at Children's Health in Dallas, TX, Dr. Qunibi spearheads strategic initiatives to optimize patient flow and enhance operational efficiency across the healthcare system.

Dr. Qunibi's career is distinguished by her unwavering commitment to identifying and addressing inefficiencies in hospital operations at the ground level. At Children's Health, she has led the way in conducting comprehensive value stream mapping of the patient journey, from admission to discharge, for both CMC Dallas and CMC Plano, identifying high impact constraints on patient flow. Her innovative approach has resulted in significant improvements in patient satisfaction, reduced length of stay, and the elimination of waste in healthcare processes.

Before her current role, Dr. Qunibi served as an Assistant Professor at Nationwide Children's Hospital, where she led key administrative and educational initiatives. She transformed the Pediatric Outreach program using the fusion of pediatric critical care medicine expertise with lean six sigma methodology, creating operational excellence and growth of the program.

Dr. Qunibi's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a Master of Business in Operational Excellence with lean six sigma black belt certification from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business. She completed her pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine.
