 Finance Honors Class of 2020

"...Honors finance program really immerses you in every different aspect of careers in finance. It allows you to explore your passion about who you are and what you want to do within finance and that was crucial in leading me to where I am today.

My favorite part of the program was definitely being part of a group of like-minded individual [as well as] being able to navigate out Junior and Senior years together. We really became close and leaned on each other.

I highly recommend the program and I wouldn't be who I am today without it."

"I originally applied for the honors finance program for the smaller class sizes... I found it to be very beneficial to be in a small group of people where it was much easier to ask professors questions in class. I thought the classes were structured differently in general with more ... hands on-learning.

My favorite part of the Finance Honors program were the people, classmates, and the professors. I think they're some of the best professors in Fisher teaching the courses that we had which contributed to us learning the content and nailing the content that we got.

The classmates were a really motivated group of people who were excited about finance which you don't find in a lot of places. I definitely recommend to apply for Honors Finance as I really got a lot out of it as it's a great program"

 Finance Honors Class of 2020

"...I applied for the Honors Finance program because I was looking for a deeper and differentiating experience finance curriculum at Fisher. The program delivered just that!

The daily discussions that I had with peers and the experienced professors helped me developed a stronger mental framework for understanding the markets. Additionally, the wide variety of cases and presentations we worked on helped me apply this knowledge to real world scenarios and has set me up for success as I began my career in Finance.

One of my favorite experiences in the program was my trip to New York. While there, I got to network with Ohio State Alumni who were working on Wall St. This really opened my eyes to the opportunities that exist for students graduating from Ohio State and what they can gain by making the most of their time there.

I highly recommend to everyone interested in growing their knowledge in finance and distinguishing themselves from the many others to apply for the Honors Finance program"

 Finance Honors Class of 2020

"...I am currently working for Bank of America as a Technology analyst, and I’m planning to head into the quantitative finance field in the future.

In this two-year program, we had a discussion-based classroom, where everyone felt free to ask questions and make comments. I certainly treasured the nights me and my classmates spent together delving into the business cases and group projects in the Bloomberg lab in Mason Hall.

Overall, the finance honor program is definitely one of my best memories from OSU."
