Presentation Title: LeanOhio: Simpler, Faster, Better and Less Costly
Presentation Overview: Listen to the State of Ohio’s efforts over the last several years regarding continuous improvement in government operations. Specifically, through the use of lean six sigma principles and tools, state agencies have achieved transformational results. Interact as well as to what is on the horizon for the LeanOhio Office in its sustainability efforts regarding capacity building and networking within the government system.
Bill Demidovich has over 27 years of increasingly responsible positions as a public service professional in multiple/diverse agencies for the State of Ohio. Bill has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and maintains designations as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), as well as, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He presently acts as the senior deployment lead for the office in assisting agencies with their transformation projects. Bill serves as an advisor to agency staff and leaders at all levels, helping them focus their improvement efforts. He facilitates Kaizen events, with more than 50 events to his credit so far, as well as, other lean activities and strategic planning efforts. Bill's background includes work in human resources, personnel, labor relations/collective bargaining and training.
