DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND MIS CELEBRATES COMMENCEMENT

The largest graduating class in the history of The Ohio State University received diplomas on May 10, including 354 in the Department of Accounting and MIS. The MAcc program held a graduation celebration two days prior at the Blackwell. Karl Frey (Accounting ’89), senior managing director of Mesirow Financial, served as the keynote speaker and welcomed 84 new alumni. Congratulations, graduates!

TEAM AMONG THE BEST IN NATIONAL TAX CASE COMPETITION

A team of Fisher College of Business undergraduate and graduate students put their classroom knowledge and experience to work as it finished near the top of a field in the Deloitte FanTAXtic Case Study Competition, an issues-based event that began with almost 80 teams nationwide.   >> Read more

STUDENTS EXPERIENCE CHICAGO AS PART OF ACCOUNTING HONORS PROFESSIONAL TRIP

Ten Accounting Honors students traveled to Chicago to gain insights and industry experience and network with alumni at leading companies.
