Background
Ken Gold, CEO of Skilken|Gold Real Estate Development, has 40 years of real estate development and brokerage experience. During that time, he has built a strong national reputation and has worked with some of the nation's preeminent retailers including Walmart, Publix, Wendy’s, Starbucks, CVS and Kroger.
In addition to his leadership at Skilken|Gold, he was the co-founder and President of Farsite, a data analytics company; served as a member of the MacArthur Foundation's Chicago Trends Research Committee and chairperson of the Retail Trends Subcommittee. In addition to teaching for over 30 years as an adjunct professor in finance and real estate development in OSU’s Fisher College of Business graduate and undergraduate programs he served for 8 years as the Director of OSU’s Center for Real Estate Education and Research and remains an Executive in Residence of the center. He received his BS and MA in Finance from OSU, loves teaching and brings the real world of real estate development to the classroom.
