Margie is Senior Director for Undergraduate Career Management and Recruitment in Fisher’s College of Business. She has been in the Office of Career Management at Fisher for over 30 years, working with undergraduate students and employers. While at Fisher Margie has researched factors influencing students’ selection of internship companies, ethics in the job search, and employers’ perceptions of critical skills they are seeking when recruiting.
At Ohio State, Margie has also served twice as President of the University Career Services Committee (UCSC) and once as President of the Association of Faculty and Professional Women (AFPW). In 1995, Margie was active in getting these two organizations to organize the first Take A Daughter to Work Day on the Ohio State campus and continued to lead this effort for ten years, offering over 50 workshops for children of faculty and staff to attend during this annual event.
Margie was also an active member of NACE’s First Destination Survey Task Force, developing the standards and survey format for the current NACE First Destination Survey. She is currently an active member of the National Undergraduate Business Symposium, which is also defining reporting standards for outcome data for business schools.
Margie received her M.A. and Ph.D. from Ohio State in Higher Education Administration. She works with Undergraduate students in the Fisher College of Business.
