Kaifeng Jiang is an Associate Professor of Management and Human Resources at Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from Rutgers University in 2013. He also got his bachelor and master degrees in Human Resource Management from Renmin University of China. Before joining Fisher, Kaifeng worked for the University of Notre Dame for four years. Kaifeng’s primary research interest is the effects of human resource management (HRM) practices on employee, team, and organizational outcomes. Related interests include leadership, work teams, organizational climate, and HR analytics. He regularly presents his research at conferences of Academy of Management (AOM) and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). His research work has been evidenced in top-tier publications, such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Personnel Psychology. Kaifeng is an Associate Editor of Human Resource Management Journal (2016-2019) and serve on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Management and Organization Review, and International Journal of Human Resource Management. He is actively involved in the activities of the HR Division of AOM by serving on the HR Division’s Executive Committee (2017-2020), Awards Committees, and Doctoral Consortium.
