The annual conference brings together academics and practitioners from across disciplines and industries seeking to influence the adoption of leading risk management practices.

Designed to be interactive, the conference will provide attendees with an opportunity to engage in conversations with experts and peers about:

  • embedding risk management into business strategies to create organizational value
  • practical risk management applications across business functions and industry sectors
  • risk management research translated into daily business applications

This year's program will focus on The Digital Revolution and its implications for risk management.  It seeks to create a greater understanding of how your organization can approach the many sides of the risks of digital innovation and leverage it to create value.

Aneesh Chopra - Keynote Speaker, September 27

As an assistant to the President, he designed the National Wireless Initiative, helped launch Startup America, and executed an "open innovation" strategy focused on better public-private collaboration as described in his 2014 book, Innovative State: How New Technologies can Transform Government. Upon Chopra’s departure as U.S. CTO, President Obama noted, "as the federal government's first chief technology officer, Aneesh Chopra did groundbreaking work to bring our government into the 21st century. Aneesh found countless ways to engage the American people using technology, from electronic health records for veterans, to expanding access to broadband for rural communities, to modernizing government records. His legacy of leadership and innovation will benefit Americans for years to come, and I thank him for his outstanding service."

Paul Brody - Keynote Speaker, September 28

Paul BrodyPaul Brody is the global innovation leader for blockchain technology at EY. An expert in mobile finance strategy, planning, technology of mobility, and internet of things, Brody joined EY with more than 20 years of consulting and strategy experience. Prior to joining EY, he served as Vice President and Global Industry Leader of Electronics at IBM. He led the development of IBM's ADEPT platform, the first internet of things (IoT) platform based on blockchain technology. He led EY's first blockchain strategy engagement, examining how digital services, payments, and IoT are coming together in new ecosystems and building a strategy and technology roadmap for one of EY's biggest clients. Brody graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Economics and African Studies.

Paul Zikopoulos - Keynote Speaker, September 28

Greg Khairallah - Keynote Speaker, September 28

Greg KhairallahGreg is the Senior Manager for Big Data and Analytics at Amazon Web Services. He has over 15 years of in-depth experience in business intelligence and data warehousing at Intel, Oracle and Business Objects (now SAP). A former U.S. Army officer, Greg holds a master’s degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
