About the Ceremony and Reception

Fisher College hosts a special MAcc Pre-Commencement Ceremony to recognize MAcc students for their accomplishments and successes. The event begins with a light reception at 4:30pm for graduates and their guests immediately followed by a ceremony beginning at 5:30pm and ending by 7pm.

  • Participation in the event does not equate to satisfying degree requirements and graduating.
  • The ceremony celebrates Spring graduates of the Master of Accounting program.
  • The ceremony itself consists of student and faculty award presentations.
  • Students will not receive a diploma at this ceremony; that occurs at the separate formal OSU Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 5th. Details about OSU Commencement are at the bottom of this page.
