Global Immersion

As a required part of the International Business course curriculum, students participate in a global immersion experience, by visiting organizations abroad to gain first-hand knowledge of operations in the global marketplace. During the excursion, students are hosted at a variety of site visits across different industries and cities. The trip includes meetings and seminars with business leaders and provides insights on culture and society. As part of the international study, students are required to organize a team site visit on their own, to tailor the experience to their own interests and needs.

Past cohorts have traveled to Hong Kong, China and Japan. The most recent cohort traveled to Shanghai and Hong Kong with an optional cultural excursion to Beijing.

The exact week of travel is announced during the program. The destination is determined by the International Business course instructor and the EMBA program. The cost of the international experience is not included in the tuition. The international experience is open to current EMBA students only.
