Global Business Management
Our emerging, global, economic culture with its complex and ever-evolving network of information, people, and goods, desperately needs visionary global business leaders, and managers. Through their research and global experiences, our faculty are at the forefront of developing groundbreaking thought leadership, and these insights are filtered directly back into the classroom environment. You will have tremendous opportunities to be part of this exciting and dynamic process during your MBA studies at Fisher College of Business.
Originally from Israel, Professor Oded Shenkar has been with Fisher for more than a decade. As a faculty member in our Management and Human Resources Department, Professor Shenkar holds the Ford Motor Company Chair in Global Business Management.
His latest book Copycats: How Smart Companies Use Imitation to Gain a Strategic Edge raises an important question on whether legal forms of imitation (not infringements of intellectual property)—long maligned in the West and embraced in the East—have a place in business practice.
