Robert R. Lane joined the Fisher College Department of Finance as Faculty Coordinator for the Financial Services Cluster as well as assisting in the inaugural Specialized Masters – Finance Program (SMF) in Autumn 2011. He brings an extensive background in financial services and consulting and has taught at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Professor Lane holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, a MA from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and a BA from Elon University. Most recently, he served as President of KeyBank, Central Ohio District, and he is also is CEO of Lane Leadership Group, LLC providing executive coaching and professional development.
Currently, he serves on the Columbus Symphony Board of Trustees, the Advisory Board at the Love School of Business, Elon University as well as a board member for a local woman owned business Pearl Interactive and start-up company in New Orleans, LA, Rebirth Financial.
