Limited Brands

Founded in 1963 with one women's apparel store in Columbus, Ohio, Limited Brands is committed to building a family of the world's best fashion brands to create sustained growth of shareholder value by focusing its time, talent, and capital on the highest return opportunities. The 2002 recombination of The Limited and Intimate Brands into one public company was one of the latest in a series of steps the Company has made over the past several years to simplify and streamline the business while maximizing shareholder value. Other past value creating initiatives include the repurchase of over 300 million shares of company stock, the spin-off of Limited Too and the split-off of Abercrombie & Fitch, establishing them as independent public companies. In addition, the Company eliminated a number of non-core assets, including the sale of Lane Bryant and Brylane, the sale of a 60% interest in Galyan's Trading Company and Alliance Data Systems and the closure of Cacique and over 1,000 underperforming stores.

Today, the Company has more resources and more talent in the business than at any point in its history, and is determined to mobilize its forces against the brands that offer the greatest growth potential.

Limited Brands, through Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Express, Express Men's (Structure), Lerner New York, Limited Stores, White Barn Candle Co. & Henri Bendel, presently operates over 4,500 specialty stores.
