Our goal is to make every citizen's first visit to prison their last. We exist to unleash economic and personal potential by breaking the arrest cycle and building a talent pipeline of entrepreneurs through prison education and opportunity.

Born out of the Fisher College of Business, the Ohio Prison Entrepreneurship Program (OPEP) is an Ohio State based program that strives to works on behalf of those incarcerated in our state. We believe that when provided with education and opportunity, every individual has a chance to change their lives. OPEP's goal is to break the recidivism cycle by using an entrepreneurial based education course that individuals may take while still incarcerated. Along with providing education, we work hard to provide opportunities for community, support, and business connections once an individual has left prison.
