Economic and social outcomes of the pandemic have caused individuals to face the most significant changes to their personal and professional lives in modern history.  While record numbers of viable employees have left the workforce (the Great Resignation), organizations are in the beginning stages of returning to on-site working.  How can individual employees address their own personal changes, while also helping work colleagues align with new organizational goals?

The Prosci© ADKAR© worksheet offers insight as to where you are in the change process and identifies steps you can take to advance both professionally and personally.  Using the power of this tool, Brenda has helped teams understand how their individual change barriers align with others and, more importantly, how they can support each other for successful change.

  • Understand how to break through your own barrier point most effectively to adopt sustainable change
  • Explore the power of using a Change Action Plan to align your team with a coming organizational change

Brenda Spriteis President and CEO of Success By Sprite, LLC, a company committed to unlocking the value of people. With more than twenty-five years of experience as an organizational strategist, Brenda’s focus is to help clients create a strategy that produces a culture of success where people at all levels understand the value of sustainable change.  Her background includes the design and execution of large-scale change initiatives for academic institutions, government entities, and a broad range of U.S. and multinational corporations representing diverse industry sectors. Projects under her leadership have included enterprise-wide policy, business process improvement, and technology system changes focused on aligning and preparing the organization to improve performance. In addition to holding a B.S. in Psychology and a Masters in Labor and Industrial Relations (MLIR) from Michigan State University, Brenda is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) and a certified Agile Change Manager.  Outside of organizational change management, Brenda also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Agile Change Practitioner (PMI-ACI) certifications from the Project Management Institute.

Feeling like you are constantly “booked” and are not able to do actual work is a common theme.  Let’s take a moment to reflect on how you really spend your time.  What percentage of your time is spent really being productive vs just being busy?  Understanding and making it measurable helps, but knowing how to transition to being more productive is the key! 

In this session you will learn from the 20+years of experience that Katie Labedz has in continuous improvement, Lean and Six Sigma.  You will see examples from manufacturing and non-manufacturing on how to successfully implement the following three Lean “secrets” to increase your team’s overall productivity:

  • Visual management
  • Standard work
  • Kanban

Participants will first learn the difference between being productive and being busy.  Secondly, everyone will learn three easy concepts to implement immediately that will be game changers for your organization to increase productivity (for low to no cost!)

Katie Labedz is the President of Learning to Lean, LLC.  She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Project Management Professional. She has been practicing Lean, Six Sigma and Project Management concepts for over 20 years.
