    Sarah Elfers is currently a second year student at The Ohio State University working toward a degree in marketing and nonprofit management. She is interested in pursuing opportunities related to animal health and welfare and fundraising. Sarah is on the leadership council for the Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Scholars Program, helping plan various experiences to enhance community development. She is also involved in Pink Out OSU, which raises money for breast cancer awareness and research. Sarah is very family oriented and owes her work ethic and values to her parents. Within CIE, Sarah assists Jenny Heckscher in the planning of events, seminars, and workshops for students, staff, and corporate partners to develop their knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship.

    Erin Halleran is majoring in Finance and minoring in Leadership Studies at Ohio State. Due to her involvements in entrepreneurship in high school, she was selected for the inaugural class of the Innovation, Creativity, & Entrepreneurship (ICE) Scholars. After her freshman year, she was named the female Outstanding First Year Student through the Leadership Awards. She is part of the Student Leadership Advocates as well as the Honors Cohort Program. She previously served as Director for the Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship Summit.
    In addition to her on-campus involvements, she has traveled to Nicaragua for a global public health initiative and to Sydney, Australia for an entrepreneurship intensive. In her first internship, she was Business Coordinator at the second-chance employer Hot Chicken Takeover. Erin serves as FUSIAN's bookkeeper as well as an intern at ds-connex, which manages fundraising for Down Syndrome walks throughout the United States. In her free time, she is developing entrepreneurship curriculum for Ohio prisons.

    Terry Klein Jr. is a second-year, full-time MBA student at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Terry is studying Marketing and also serves as the Vice President of Major Events for the Fisher Association of Marketing Professionals (AMP). Prior to starting his MBA, he worked in Marketing and Analytics roles at Things Remembered, North America’s largest retailer of personalized gifts. Terry earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management with a Concentration in Marketing, as well as minors in Economics and Entrepreneurship, from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. As the Graduate Administrative Associate at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, he supports the core CIE leadership team and its growth initiatives.

    Born in Buffalo, NY, Christian has always taken a great interest in math and science, especially in how the world works. At age 10, he placed four AA batteries inside a microwave to see what would happen and he also learned how to fix drywall. As a freshman in high school, Christian moved to Detroit, MI to pursue a career in hockey. After traveling the country to states such as Vermont, Iowa, and Nebraska, Christian signed an offer with The Ohio State University. A member of the Varsity Men’s Ice Hockey team, Christian is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics through the Integrated Systems Engineering Program. Christian plans to eventually obtain a Master of Business Administration. Christian has taken part in multiple masculinity and African Americans in sports focus groups and talks. In May 2016, he led a group of student-athletes to Jamaica and distributed over 1,500 shoes to children in need. Christian’s journey brings a unique perspective that can be translated into innovation and improvement for business ideas. His analytical and programming skills are useful assets to the CIE team.

    Alicia Russo joined CIE as a student intern August 2015 and is currently at fourth-year undergraduate student at The Ohio State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environment, Economy, Development and Sustainability with a specialization in Business and Sustainability. Alicia is also an intern for Clean Fuels Ohio, a database for electric vehicle adoption in Ohio, where she is gaining knowlege about the renewable energy sector and EV adoption. Alicia is involved with the Ohio State chapter of Net Impact and has a passion for the integration of environmental sustainability and entrepreneurship. She is a Cleveland native and a huge Cleveland Indians fan. She has assisted in the planning and implementation of various CIE events and programs, such as the Best of Student Startups (BOSS) Competition and learning experiences for ICE Scholars.
