Meet Jaret Waters, a sophomore from Copley, Ohio, double majoring in economics and Spanish. In addition to his interest in journalism, Jaret likes learning about different Spanish dialects. This interest inspired him to study abroad last summer in Santiago, Chile, which was his first time outside of the U.S. The trip helped him hone his Spanish skills and led to a greater appreciation for immigrants.

Meet Sonal Gupta, a senior specializing in Finance with a minor in Spanish. Sonal is from Dayton and will be moving to Chicago upon graduation to serve as a Business Technology Analyst with Deloitte Consulting. She was recognized in 2017 as a Pace Setter and has extensive internship experience, the most memorable being at a startup in Barcelona, Spain.
