Learn today, lead tomorrow

The middle market offers business students a wealth of engaging and rewarding learning and career opportunities. Through the National Center for the Middle Market, you can explore these opportunities and take advantage of unique learning, skill building, and career exploration experiences.

By becoming engaged in the various initiatives we offer, you will not only enhance your education, you will also help the center create a talented and well-prepared pool of candidates to lead the middle market to future successes.

Fisher Invitational:
Put your skills to the test

Our annual case competition is your business school’s chance to demonstrate its excellence. Now in its 20th year, the invitational challenges teams from prominent schools to analyze a complex, live business case for a middle market company.

Sponsored by GE Capital, the 2012 competition will take place April 12-14 at Fisher College of Business. View event details.

Middle Market Projects:
Learn through real-world experience

The Center provides you with exciting opportunities for experiential learning through classroom-based projects for middle market companies.

We invite key companies to partner with us in the program, allowing us to offer project-based courses focused on logistics, innovation, and i4 (a study abroad program in an emerging market). You may also gain internship opportunities with our partner companies as a result of these projects.

Annual Middle Market Job Fair:
Discover rewarding career paths.

In the spring of 2012, 30 or more emerging middle market companies will congregate at The Ohio State University for the annual middle market career fair. Make plans to join MBA students from across the country to learn about the most exciting and challenging opportunities that the middle market has to offer.

The National Center for the Middle Market works hand in hand with the Office of Career Management at Fisher College of Business team to organize this can’t-miss event.
