My Fisher Internship
An Unexpected Week 3

Written by:

Last week was a great and memorable one. During the third week of my internship, I was asked to travel to Denver, Colorado on a business trip. Of course, I said yes! I traveled with my director and two co-workers on my team.

In addition to visiting one of Cardinal’s suppliers, the trip gave me the opportunity to get to know my teammates in a setting outside of the office. I feel so much more comfortable at work now that I know a little more about them and they know a little more about me. The real high point was traveling with my director and learning more about the business one-on-one.

So far, I have tried to say yes to the extra opportunities I’ve been offered and it is starting to feel like it’s really paying off.

One of my favorite parts of the trip. Went for a run at Red Rock Amphitheater and watched the sun rise. One of those “pinch me” moments. This was the day I think I fell in love with the mountains
