New year, same old stuff

After a busy start to the quarter, things are finally slowing down.  Part of the reason I have been so busy is because I have over-committed myself for the first quarter (taking 4 classes, teaching 2 classes, and leading the Fisher Graduate Student Association).  It also doesn’t help that my Cincinnati Reds made it to the playoffs  (I needed to go home last Sunday to attend the game… I really didn’t have an option since the Reds haven’t been to the playoffs in fifteen years.)  This past weekend I attend a friend’s wedding in Philadelphia.  If the wedding was a year earlier, I don’t think I would have attended since I was worried about the classes during my first year.  As a second year student, I know what is expected of me and I know how to better manage my time so that weekend excursions are possible.

Tonight’s blog entry needs to be short because I am still slightly behind on my finance and strategy homework, but stay tuned since I’ll be posting some big news in my next blog entry.
