4th of July Weekend
My 4th of July weekend was pretty good like I assume everyone else's was. It started on Friday with a bunch of friends coming over for food and fireworks. Thanks to bug spray we were able to avoid most of the mosquitoes that were out. My older sister also had her second child on Friday night so that was exciting too.
Saturday I accompanied my fiancé to the bike store so she could try out a couple of bikes since she is riding in Pelotonia. Our trip was successful and we left with a new bike. Monday morning we went for a training ride on Olentangy Trail. The ride was about 25 miles and my knees were pretty sore all Monday afternoon.
Sunday we went out to Buckeye Lake with some friends and then to Pataskala for some fireworks which were a lot of fun.
Lastly, we went to see “The Secret In Their Eyes” which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in March and it did not disappoint. For those of you that like foreign/independent films, you should check it out.
Today, it's back to the real world and the work and class that come with it.
